TOKYO, 13 June 2026 – The Malaysian Students’ Association in Japan (MSAJ) successfully organized the MSAJ Career Fair 2026 at The University of Tokyo, bringing together over 180 students and 25 participating companies for a day of career exploration, networking, and professional development. This marks a significant increase compared to the past five years, reflecting a very positive reception and growing trust toward this event among both students and industry partners.

As one of MSAJ’s flagship initiatives, the Career Fair aims to connect Malaysian students in Japan with employment and internship opportunities while strengthening engagement between students and industry representatives. This year’s event attracted mainly students graduating in 2027, alongside participants from the 2028, 2029, and 2030 cohorts, reflecting growing interest in early career preparation.

The opening ceremony was officiated through the ribbon-cutting ceremony by Mr. Zainal Azlan Mohd Nadzir, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy Malaysia, Tokyo, followed by a booth tour led by MSAJ President, ‘Ariqah Sarah, and Vice President Muhammad Izzat Haiqal, where VIP guests engaged directly with participating exhibitors at Takeda Hall.

The event was organized with the support of the Embassy of Malaysia in Japan, TalentCorp, and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA).

The Career Fair received highly positive feedback from both students and exhibitors, and encouraging compliments from the attending official partners. Students appreciated the opportunity to interact directly with employers and gain career insights, while participating organizations welcomed the chance to connect with talented and globally minded Malaysian students studying in Japan.

MSAJ extends its deepest appreciation to all participating companies, partners, sponsors, attendees, and especially the 45 dedicated MSAJ Career Fair Committee members who contributed to making MSAJ Career Fair 2026 a remarkable achievement. We are especially grateful to the Embassy of Malaysia in Japan, TalentCorp, MIDA, MJAA, JAGAM, JASSO, JETRO, and IMAN Jepun for their continued support and commitment to the development of Malaysian students in Japan.

As MSAJ continues to strengthen its relationship with industry partners and stakeholders, we remain committed to providing meaningful opportunities that empower Malaysian students to achieve their career aspirations. We look forward to building upon the success of this year's event and continuing the MSAJ Career Fair tradition for many years to come.
